Pre-school Education
Government Kindergardren
Singapore currently has two government kindergartens – PAP (People’s Action Party) and MFS (NTUC My First Skool). There are many branch schools all over the island, with a long history and good experiences. Usually the schools are located in the residential area for parents’ convenience. Compared with private kindergartens, government ones have lower tuition cost.
Approximate tuition: SG$1,500 – SG$2,500/month
Private Kindergarten
Private Kindergarten are operated by private organizations, such as community, grassroots, commercial organization, etc. It adopts the same educational model as public kindergartens, and the facilities are relatively advanced as well, so the quality of teaching can be guaranteed. Generally private kindergartens have more vacancies than public ones.

International Kindergarten

Singapore’s public schools are fully funded by the government. The development and administration of the schools are under the full control of the Ministry of Education (MOE). The curriculum is also set by the MOE. With best teaching resources , the teaching quality has always been maintained at a high level.
According to the OECD’s “World’s Largest Basic Education Rankings” in 2015, Singapore ranked first in the world. In addition, in the results of the PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) released by OECD in 2018, Singapore’s students ranked first in the three test areas of mathematics, reading, and science among 540,000 students from 72 countries and regions around the world.
Comparing with European and American countries, the cost of studying in Singapore is much lower. Singapore government allows mothers to accompany students until they enter the Government Polytechnic or University. After passing the O-level examination, students can apply to the government institute of science and technology, and they will receive up to 80% of the government grants for excellent grades. The annual tuition is only SG$4,000-6,000. After graduation, students can apply for PR, realizing employment and immigration in one step.

Singapore’s Ministry of Education stipulates that private universities in Singapore can only issue university course diplomas. Therefore, most private universities in Singapore cooperate with renowned overseas universities to provide world-recognized degrees. And private universities in Singapore have a shorter academic system to obtain degrees, with a maximum length of 30 months. In addition, tuition and living expenses in Singapore are cheaper than those in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. Students who need to improve their English proficiency can sign up for business English. The diploma certifications offered include diplomas, degrees and masters, as well as MBA.
